How Coaster Works

01

Carry

You do your normal deliveries with a Coaster bag. The bag has ad panels on the outside. No extra routes, no extra burdens.

02

Verify

Once a day, send a photo of your bag via WhatsApp. That's the only requirement.

03

Earn

You receive a guaranteed monthly payment on top of your delivery earnings. The more hours you work, the more you earn.

04

Fund

Advertising revenue pays for your earnings, hub operations, and a community benefit fund.

No Extra Work

No new routes, no vehicle requirements. You do exactly what you're already doing.

How payment works

Work, verify, get paid

Hours worked
Daily photo verification
Monthly payment

You work your normal delivery shifts. Once a day, you send a photo of your bag via WhatsApp. At the end of each pay period, we calculate your earnings based on verified hours and pay you directly.

No throttling. No penalties. No competition between riders.

Strength in numbers

Bring your friends—everyone earns more.

About

We're building something different.

Coaster was founded on a simple idea: the 65,000 delivery workers who power New York City's restaurant economy deserve more than what the gig platforms give them. They deserve guaranteed income, safe places to rest, and a real voice in how the companies they work with operate.

We turn their delivery bags into mobile advertising—and we turn the revenue from those ads into guaranteed monthly payments, community hubs, and a benefit fund for workers.

Same job. Same bike. A better deal.

How we're different

Not another gig platform

Guaranteed income, not gig-style maybe-you'll-earn-something.
Worker input on program terms—not take-it-or-leave-it contracts.
Hubs with real amenities—not an app that tells you where the nearest public bathroom is.
The trial

Proving the model before we scale

A 125-rider, 1-hub, 60-day pilot. We're proving the model works before we scale. Every dollar of rider payment is funded and committed before the trial begins.
